那些年,我們一起追的女孩

This is the latest movie I've caught so far.
You Are the Apple of My Eye is a Taiwanese romance film which is based on the semi-autobiographical novel which has the similar title by Giddens 九把刀.

As a nostalgic person, I enjoyed each and every scene of the movie. If I were asked to watch it again, I don't mind at all! This movie reminded myself of typical secondary school days. I watched it with my friends and they are still in craze with the movie. They even wanted to get the novel. I heard it was so popular that many Popular bookstores sold them out. I had thoughts of buying the novel too but then again, it's Chinese. (I figured out I'll have problems reading it.) But if you're interested in reading the novel, it's on the App Store for free! You can even choose to read in either traditional or simplified Chinese.
However the ebook is only up to like, 50 chapters? I'm not very sure either..

I think Michelle Chen (who acts as the lead female Shen Chia-Yi) is so pretty! I like her smile, so sweet and simple. I remembered she acted as Rainie Yang's best friend in Why Why Love. Of course, don't forget the lead male, Ko Chen-Tung (Wikipedia says he's a first-time actor!), he reminded me of one of my classmates. I think Ko Chen-Tung is very charismatic~ If I'm not wrong, I think one of the supporting actors is from Lollipop. Right?

The whole movie itself gave me a retro 90's feel. It's near 2 hours long. My friends and I laughed like no tomorrow~ Some of the scenes were quite boys-mocking. 打手抢~HAHA. If you were to talk to me about the movie I'd still laugh about it.

Why are the uniforms like for prisoners kind? I didn't know there were numbers on the uniforms until I saw the photo. Are all Taiwan schools in the past like that? :o
He even looks so handsome from his back HAHA. The uniform with lots of blue dots is just memorable. -Tries hard not to be a spoiler-
The moment I came back home first thing I did is to download all the soundtracks HAHA. My favourites are 那些年 and 孩子氣.

孩子氣
Completely self-composed and sung by Michelle! Love her sweet voice :)

那些年

SO CUTE.

So yeah, if you're still hesitating or have yet to watch, watch it already! Writing this post itself makes me wanna watch it again. Yup, that's how nice it is.
