Since it's absolute freedom now so I purchased a pair of contacts and hair dye.
I used the Liese hair dye (Chestnut Brown) and it didn't go well.
I came up 4 reasons to support why I failed:
▲ It's my first time dying my hair (so the dye chemicals weren't absorbed much).
▲ I had to take out my specs hence everything was a blur.
▲ It's bubble shampoo dye. (Many said they aren't as good as the classic ones)
▲ I'm a noob.
Damn.
Perhaps I might re-dye my hair again after I collected my O level results which should be on the second week of January.
Never mind about the hair colour. Yup, I started wearing contact lenses on 24 November, which was right after the TPRawks! event. Since it was my first time wearing them (and I've been waiting for this day), I had both the fear and excitement inside. The optometrist put them on for me first and my eyes were all teary. I didn't experience any pains but definitely there were discomforts (of course). I took 30 minutes at the optometrist's.
Viewing the world without spectacles feels like having new pair of eyes. I sound like I'm exaggerating because I have been wearing specs since I was 6 (´△`)↓ so having the plastic load off my face is a huge 気持ち moment for me~ I'm getting better at putting and removing them now! I guess the phrase "practice makes perfect" suits this.
Here's my naked single-eyelid eyes and chubby cheeks. Do I look better without my spectacles?
Initially I wasn't used to this look, thinking that I need to put on some light make up lol. But now I feel a lot better.
Nails that were drawn and painted by my friend last month ;)
Prom Night!
My dear friend Pearlyn (above) helped me with the make up, hair and nails. Thank you babe!! (*^3^)/〜☆
I've spend a lot for prom and my skirt was the most expensive and it wasn't worth the price. But still~
I wore 2 inch heels and they were enough to make my feet super sore.
I guess I was quite lucky to get to attend prom, because it was the first prom ever in East Spring's history! (*□*) Even though it was boring at some parts, still I enjoyed dancing and taking photos with all my friends. ヽ(*^ー^)人(^ー^*)ノ♪♪
I decided on wearing a maxi skirt because I wanted to try different things. Most of the times I'd wear short skirts and short shorts so yeah. It was a hassle (accidentally step on it) but I liked the flare!
Nobody asked why I bought a pink one (because I dislike pink, remember?) haha! Some guys even thought I was wearing a dress lol.
Okay, the reason why I chose light colours is because I want my outfit to be of earthly colours. My inspiration is from here. Rest of the photos are on facebook c:
Aww man, I'll miss most of the 5Ns badly D:
Many have asked me what I've been up to during the holidays, and I just tell them I'm wasting my time and money away. (That's the truth.) I went to many shops to apply for part-time jobs but to no avail. I guess I'm not working this month, 'cause I'll be heading to Malaysia again and who wants to hire someone who's traveling on a festive season? Still, I can't wait to go there again ;)
Sad part is, I'll be missing out the Candlelight service in church this year! Sob. ・゜・(つД`)・゜・
